I don't hate DiNardo. He made a few horrible hires in replacing coordinators and it cost him his job. He wasn't the best coach ever but he left a good foundation for Saban to build on when he got here.
Judging from his subsequent coaching jobs, it seems like he punched above his weight class for a few years but just wasn't that good of a coach.

was a good coach, good recruiter. just too loyal to his assistants when it was obvious they were inadequate.
