I think somebody told me once you have to partially freeze catfish to slice it thin. I've personally never done it though.
I would guess shipping it would be expensive.

Most restaurants here slice them partially frozen on a deli slicer. Probably will be hard to find them thin cut anywhere.

You just need a sharp assed filet knife to do the job.

yeah, freeze them and run through a slicer, easiest way to do it.
