It'll get patched just like the full court passes from last year did. I actually wish they would allow the full court passes. NBA players dropping half court passes is just unrealistic to me.

Connection wise 2k has been garbage online. So laggy with people getting dropped all the time.

NBA 2K14 is much better to me. It's much more realistic with the downed 3pt% and the passing is 20x better than before. The reason there is more turnovers is because they made the ball touchable at all times. I actually like that they did that, but they probably do need to tone it down just a tad. Someone shouldn't be able to poke the ball lose by running like hell at your guy's dribbling arm .

My only main problem with 2K14 is the block-party they've created. I like that blocks aren't impossible like in 2k13, but blocking is far too easy now. I've just been spamming runners when my guy beats the defender off the dribble because lay-ups aren't an option unless the lane is wide open. I also have to get used to the shooting part of the pro-stick. The pro-stick pretty much killed spin lay-ups as far as I can tell. I guess the spin-dominant era I'm used to is over with.
