so the offense scores 14 points and had 4 turnovers but it was the defenses fault?

Once the defense started giving up big plays the entire offensive game plan went out the door. You fall behind, you tend rely on the passing game and mistakes will eventually happen. We were down 16-7 at the half and Reggie Bush scored the 88 TD on the first possession in the 2nd half, making it 14-16. After that the defense started giving up chunks, including a 33 yard TD in a 5 play 85 yard drive. We fell behind 25-14 and it was over after that. Offense was responsible for 3 turnovers, two of which Brees committed after the game had already been lost. So yes, I'd say the defense was at fault. Just like it was in 07 and 08 and majority of the losses under Sean Payton.

Billy Cundiff missed a FG late in the third that would have given them an 17-15 lead. It wasn't until after that play that the defense gave in.

So is it his fault? That douchebag never makes clutch kicks.

Also, Michael Lewis fumbled a kick return in the first half.
