Government closing boat ramps here in AZ

A number of our reservoirs are in the National Forest here in Arizona (and out West). With the Government shutting down so many things ramps are closed! Anglers are quite frustrated as you can imagine.
We live in a place where they secure the entrance into a lake to prevent law abiding, permit purchasing, American anglers from fishing.
Yet, apathetic measures are taken to seal our borders from Illegals invading our country and causing a huge drain on the overall economic system.

It really is tough to wrap my head around. The way they are paying people to block normally unmanned areas is just nuts. Purely political. They want the public to suffer as much as possible so they can try to blame GOP.

I wish all these politicians and federal workers would realize that they work for us.
ETA: and I know the gate workers are just doing what they're told.

But we are smarter than that and this just makes us hate him more.

How many government employees does it take to operate a boat ramp?
Hell, why not close the interstate highways while they're at it.

Dang! I used to live in Phoenix and fish around there quite a bit. I'll be there this week.

During the turmoil if the last year howmany of us said, " don't worry, the good ole boys at the local level will never side with feds on excessive control of firearms, derogatory actions to our veterans, or suppression of our outdoor activities?"
Well lock step, just following orders, just doing our job, we can see what happens.
