Which is exactly why karma came to collect on MSU to begin with, for the last like 20 damn years.

That 1982 game still sticks in my craw. The NY Times had us #1 after destroying the gumps. Two weeks later we hung 55 on Florida St. We crushed Florida, Bama, Florida State. Perhaps the 2 easiest games on the schedule-- MSU and Tulane-- we lost to. IMO the Tulane game still remains as one the most embarrassing losses in Tiger history. We were like 40 point favorites!

I was at that game. Fans were throwing oranges into the end zone after every score. A Tulane player picked up one of the oranges, took a bite out of it and threw it back into the stands.

And then we lost to Nebraska 21-20 in the Orange Bowl. We owned them for 3 quarters but called back TDs and getting gassed late in the 4th did us in. A really frustrating year.
