Hurricane Karen is going to ruin your weekend if you are in South MS LA

Looks like the weather geeks are saying turn to the West and landfall in they usual La/MS border area. (Can someone please lift that damn Indian curse from Hancock County.) People with camps and boats need to make plans. Just a baby hurricane strong tropical storm at landfall, but it is going to create a mess.
At 1PM CDT Tropical Storm KAREN
...KAREN EXPECTED TO APPROACH THE NORTHERN GULF COAST ON SATURDAY...
1:00 PM CDT Thu Oct 3
Location: 22.9°N 88.2°W
Moving: NNW at 12 mph
Min pressure: 1004 mb
Max sustained: 65 mph
Here is the latest impact information for Tropical Storm Karen. Biggest impacts for the local area will be across extreme SE LA and coastal MS. Look for winds 35-45 mph with some hurricane force gusts possible in the hurricane watch area, 2-4 inches of rain with locally higher amounts possible, and tides 2-4 ft in the TS Watch area (including Lake Pontchartrain) and 4-6 ft in the Hurricane Watch area. Highest tides will be along east and southeast facing shores. Winds will be higher over the coastal waters - in the 40-50 kt range with higher gusts -and seas will rise up to 15 ft.

Rainy weekend, maybe I will check out this show called Breaking Bad that I have been hearing about. Netfix weekend.

I have my sons second b-day Saturday. Guess we better think of some inside games for the 40+ kids that'll be there.

Not many better things you could do. I'm not much on movies and TV, but damn that was a badass series.

I'm headed north to Natchez to shoot some backstrap so I think I'll be ok. Hope we don't get TOO much rain.

I doubt we see much rain from it in Acadiana.

I think southwest mississippi will stay pretty dry. This storm has zero moisture on west side
