Matt Forte, we still beat the crap out of them.

Not to high-jack the thread, but my greatest thrill was watching the duel between Terry Bradshaw vs. Roger Staubach in Ruston...talk about an air show!

Eli Manning and Big Ben Roethlisberger

It was mentioned earlier in the thread, but Rex Grossman, Jabbar Gaffney and Reche Caldwell put on a clinic vs LSU in 2001. Probably the most-dominant QB-WR performance I ever witnessed in Tiger Stadium. Grossman went 22-32 464 5 TDs / 1 INT. Gaffney: 5-164-2. Caldwell: 6-120-1. Our pass defense was helpless all afternoon. Though he was largely a system product, Gaffney was every bit as dominant in SEC competition as AJ Green and Julio Jones.
I also remember future Chicago Bear and New Orleans Saint Alex Brown having a monster performance in that game (I think he put the hit on Davey that knocked him out of the game).

To Name a few:
Scott Hunter (I saw him as Vigor High's quarterback when Vigor played my High School, Davidson, and then saw him play at Ladd Stadium in the Senior Bowl.)
Kenny Stabler
Joe Namath
Richard Todd
Herschel Walker
Bo Jackson
Ozzie Newsome
All three Mannings
Jake Gibbs (did not wind up as an NFL Player but as a Coach)
Numerous others ever since being born when my Dad was a student at LSU in the late-1940s--he graduated in 1950; I was born in 1949.
Most of these were on TV.

Ozzie Newsome - he bailed out some terrible Bama QBs with miracle catches.

I don't think we ever played Bo Jackson or Peyton Manning.
Everybody mentions McFadden and Jones. What about their fullback, Peyton Hillis?

John Hannah (Bama '71) - one of the all time great NFL OL.
Wasn't there but if you saw UTenn in '82 (?)/'83, Reggie White (GOAT) played.
Mark Bavaro (ND/NYG) - played TE in '84 for ND
