Why was Alabama picked. They aren't the best team in college football this season.

Without taking the bait, I do believe the old Miami Hurricanes teams loaded with hall of famers wouldn't have gone 0-16 in a season. A team with that much talent wins the turnover battle, then anything can happen. The matchup would be much closer each week than the miracle on ice was.
