It's just political grandstanding. Outfitters and operators in some national forests can't operate now because of the furlough. Tourist season is over here, so I don't give a rats arse whether Forest Svc. personnel are working or not because access to 99% of the things I use will still be available.

They are HEAVILY hunted in LA and MS so it will have a big impact on this area if they are shut down on the opening day of archery season. It will also have a big impact if there are no wardens there as everything that walks or crawls has the potential to be slaughtered by some.
