National Forests and Govt. shutdown?

How will this impact National Forests in MS and LA? Will this be carte blanche to poach?

I know the green jeans in my area were probably as thick as mosquitoes at the NWR here this morning hoping to catch some folks

It's just political grandstanding. Outfitters and operators in some national forests can't operate now because of the furlough. Tourist season is over here, so I don't give a rats arse whether Forest Svc. personnel are working or not because access to 99% of the things I use will still be available.

I read where all National Wildlife Refuges and Forest are closed. Can anyone confirm this?
