Is it legal to block a field goal from under the Goal Post?

Watching OBJ today playing under the GP today on a long attempt, hoping to return it if its short( but he made it)....The GP bar is 10' high, if that attempt had been close to barely going over . Could a player jump from under the post and block back into the field of play?.Pretty sure someone like Jimmy Graham can get up close to 11' with pads

At what point in the game is it ever illegal to touch the ball?

Thats what he was planning to do before he returned it for the TD
I see no reason why it would be illegal

RULING: Foul for batting the ball in the end zone. During regulation play, postscrimmage kick enforcement gives a safety by penalty. In extra periods, enforcement of the 15-yard penalty is at the previous spot
and Team A retains possession.

RULING: Legal play.
