All part of "the process". While we all get aggravated at times with Les for spreading the carries around (sometimes inexplicably), it leaves them with much lower mileage for the next level. So a Ridley or Addai end up having better pro careers than the midget's backs, even though they didn't get nearly the press in college.

Didn't Adadi play for Saban as well?

It sounds like it makes sense to say fewer carries in college helps players in the pros, but plenty of RB's have gotten more carries in college and done fine in the NFL. Adrain Peterson had more carries in college than Richardson.

Also its not just Alabama RB's, lots of their guys are getting to the pros nicked up, needing surgery early on.
