I got my BMC from a shelter. He looked pretty close to that. Took him home and just stayed real calm with him till he trusted me. Took about a month. He's the best dog I've ever known.

Friend of my daughter volunteers there and she knew our dog and sent her that pic and it's been killing me ever since. I can't take her, but if I can find the poor thing a home at least that's something.

These dogs are so smart and sensitive you just talk to them in a normal voice and they know what you're wanting. It's like they're psychic after awhile. They key off of you completely. If you're happy, they're happy. If you're alarmed, they're going into defense mode. If you are riding your four wheeler for miles with them eating your dust the whole way and you top a hill right on top of some deer and stop and are excited and they run up, see the deer, check you for energy level, they'll go cut you one out and bay it.

Just really amazing dogs.

Absolutely. Got my BMC from a shelter without knowing what he was. Took us a couple months to figure out exactly what he was but it didn't matter.

Has always been a little skittish since he was obviously a street dog (the shelter owner found him in a flowerbed extremely malnourished walking on the front of his paws), but has adjusted really well since then.

We were really scared that he wouldn't adjust to out newborn (2 months now) but he's nothing but loving towards her.

Please, please, please... Somebody consider taking this dog, it'll be the best dog you ever have. Intensely loyal...

Here's mine
