LOL. Really? He ran for over a hundred yards last season behind a patchwork, injury riddled offensive line agains the likes of South Carolina and Alabama, i.e. the Big Boys.

He ran away from secondaries and speedy d-lineman (like Clowney) on a regular basis. Recall his long runs against SC or Clemson or even Auburn last week.

You completely underestimate his vision, quickness, speed, burst to the hole, elusiveness, and power.

What are you babbling about?

I never said he was not a good back...just not great. He is big and fast and can hit the hole and go the distance.

However, I would'nt mind seeing him punish defenses more by being a more physical back. I would also like to see him break more tackles.

I don't think he's on the level of some of the past LSU greats... yet. I can't help but wonder if we will see him differently in 1 year, or 5 years. Sometimes it's hard to see what's right in front of you. Have to allow for that all too human trait.

And in the grand scheme of things, what if LSU had won a NC last year? What would we be saying about Hill in that context regarding the USC and TAMU games (especially).

All that being said, the kid has almost all the tools. Only thing we haven't seen that much of is hands/receiving. Do see him miss on protection alot, but that's beside the point for this thread.

The vision is at the top of the list
Does know when to zig, zag, and lower the boom
can't deny we've seen that burst and acceleration plenty
that speed with that frame, the term "prototypical" comes to mind
