The final two episodes of the AMC hit will run 75 minutes, with commercials, according to writer and co-executive producer Peter Gould.
"I checked & it's official. Last 2 #BreakingBad eps are 75 minutes each w/commercials. Set your DVRS accordingly. Better still, watch live!" Gould tweeted Wednesday.

Hopefully that was planned a long time ago and they didn't decide to just put back in some mediocre scenes that were previously cut.

shite gets cut great TV shows and filmas all of the time because the director sees that they didn't work well. Just saying that I hope it was planned before they started filming and not just "let's include that scene with Walt buying a Coke Zero at the gas station and sell some more commercials."

I was actually gonna leave out the "Final two episodes" part too but I figured some jacknut would call out the Fly episode. There was no mediocre in BB for me.

I thought that episode was great. It was a filler one probably, but it was great for character development

So this probably amounts to an extra 10 minutes per episode. Nice, but I'd rather have seen another 20 or 30. There's so much left to resolve it's not even funny.

I don't see Gilligan diluting the series just for 30 minutes of extra air time.

Pretty much a way to get 2 one-hour(~55 min) long episodes without cutting the commercials. My body is ready

I just hope that I can get back from Georgia in time to see the finale live. I really don't want to have to sequester myself until I can watch it.
