I'm happy as hell for the kid. I'm sure his dad is proud. An although I dislike the shot and think the dad should have taught the kid to be patient for a better shot, I can't really fault him. I know in my excitement I've taken some shots that I regretted immediately after pulling the trigger. You live and you learn, and I hope the kid learns from it and doesn't do it again. Excitement makes us do stuff that we know better than to do sometimes, but we hunt for that pleasure and excitement. The day I no longer feel that rush and excitement, I'll put my gun and bow up for good. At that point its killing just for the sake of killing and no longer a sport.
