Trying to breakdown film without having knowledge of the calls made on the sideline is about as useful as tits on a nun.

BINGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would rather go through these growing pains early in the season against TCU and UAB then against the meat of the schedule.

Let's see how this shakes out when Aub comes to town. By then things should be much clearer. We have some new pieces that are taking over for experienced players that left. You'll always have growing pains when that happens.
Guys like J.Collins and R.Martin have their arse to the fire right now, lets see how they react.

I don't know that this will be a dominant defense, but they can be pretty damn good. This is another good game to get some young guys feet wet and work on some of the problems. Then it gets real come SEC play.

Some of you in this thread jumping on people for saying that they think they know more than Chavis are just wrong.

We have some more experienced guys at DB and LB and then we have a crop of new talent that is going to be freaking exceptional.

It should be EXPECTED!!!! that experience is going to get the early starts when you are in this situation. I would be willing to bet that Chavis didn't expect (hoped maybe) Welter to be the starter by the end of the season.

LSU and many places don't like just gifting a starting role to freshmen that have never seen the field before. It is a bad situation to be in to give a freshman the starting job and then have to take it away.

So just because WE can see changes that need to be made, doesn't mean that we aren't actually in lockstep with Chavis!
