I don't think Elona shoulda went home tonight. She really owned all of her performances. Would rather carlito have gone

Happened pretty much as I thought last night. Not much surprise to me. Glad those two went home because they had the worst performances this week. Rion especially. Even last night, she was terrible.

My GF has me watching Xfactor since last season. We both agree the way the changed the show this year was a terrible idea, w/ the '4 chair' thing instead of the boot camp, all the 'double eliminations, etc... Ratings are way down (this past wed's show only drew a 5.4).
We've gotten to the point where we just fast forward it every time Paulina speaks. She makes absolutely no sense and it seems the contestants and judges hate her too. Simon sighs & rolls his eyes every time she tries to speak, the contestants are doing it too now.
Too many women on the panel, Kelly is good, I get why Demi is there, but they need another La Reid/Simon type not another singer.

How the Carlito guy is still there is mind boggling. I guess the producers are desperate to have an 'ethnic' presence.

I agree with you. I would love to see them perform for an entire hour on the show. I LOVE them. People are really missing out by not watching just to see them. I can't wait to see what they do next. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Simon doesn't pick some bizarre song for them that doesn't work with their genre. I want them to win. I think they deserve to win. Fresh fresh act.

They really did pull through this time. I think the vote is a bunch of girls keeping them in, though, because they really shouldn't have made it this far, but I'm fine with them there now after Wed's performances. They shouldn't win by any means.

It was indeed her time. She was very good and I think she got the attention she needed to get during her stay. I'll be interested to see if it takes her anywhere. Maybe a Disney type gig? She got a little rough during the end and I'm not sure how far her continued discussion of spreading the Word of God will get her unless she goes gospel. This just isn't the show for that. She had a very good run.

He improved and I think Paulina probably made a good move throwing in the Spanish singing the last few weeks. It's not for me, but I'm guessing the Latino vote is keeping him from dead last. His improvement is saving him with the judges, but this will be his last week, I believe.

I'm harder on Demi for what she's done with Elona than Elona. Demi is the problem here. Elona can sing. She's got some pipes, but Demi took away from that with the Vegas stuff. Made her look more like a showgirl or broadway star. I think that lost the young people vote for her. It didn't appeal to them and Simon made that point early on. Demi somewhat admitted to it after the unplugged song. She should have been showing off the voice and not the dancing and other things. Some of it was very uncomfortable looking.

Alex and Sierra's story will also be great PR for them. She's only been singing for a year and look at what's she's accomplished. Taking those songs and making them their own is no easy task because "their own" is so so different. Way different front the way many others make a song "their own". Fantastic performances this week. Can't get enough of them.

Just finished watching and all I can say is ALEX & SIERRA!!! They killed it tonight and they were so darn good that they made Carlito look damn good in the duet song. Sierra brought it on home with that one.

I think A&S and Jeff should be in the finals. I'd put Carlito 3rd, but he was 3rd in the first round and 2nd in the second round for me, so he's really 2.5, I guess.

Really enjoyed the show. Much better than The Voice semis, but A&S are making this season fantastic.

Alex and Sierra are the clear winners of this show. They appeal to all ages and audiences and it will be a landslide in the finals.

Based on this week, Carlito should definitely be in the finals. RR were terrible and Gutt won't get more votes than either one of those. Doesn't appeal to a wide enough audience to win. RR will probably go through b/c of their small towns. They're absolutely horrible though. Lead guy can sing, the other two are weak as a baby lamb.

Alex and Sierra in finals vs Carlito/RR (who cares). A & S win.

Time to find out if A&S make the finale. I didn't delete the show from last night so I can watch all 3 of their songs again.

Couldn't be more happy that RR didn't make it. God they're awful. I was happy Carlito made it because I think he deserved it more than all of them. Not that he's better than A&S, but he's improved the most and came the furthest. He's definitely a performer and even last night you could see how far he's came. He's got the hispanic vote, so I think it really comes down to him and A&S next week. Should be a good finale next week, the more A&S sings the better!

Alex and Sierra. What can I say. G R E A T !!!!!!

I'm not going to keep up with the rounds, but Gutt is doing really well. Could be a close one between he and Alex and Sierra. Gutt just kept plowing this season and he looks and acts like a rocker when he sings. The duet was great.

Also loved A&S with Leona Lewis. Not my favorite of theirs, but it was really good.

I honestly didn't pay much attention to Carlito. I got distracted and I'm not into Latin singers, honestly. They're very good, but not my thing.

Okay, I'm betting on A&S, but it could be close between them and Gutt. He had a great night and he's very likable. They all are. This isn't obvious to me like Voice was. Better final night, too.
