has any reporter brought up Ingram's unproductiveness to Payton?

Anybody know if Sean has had a comment. Just wondering what the staff sees. This Staff is typically a good evaluator....so it shocks me the blinders that pull for a few specific players. Ingram, Jenkins more specifically. Shocked to see Ingram start game and continue to get the most meaningful snaps at the most meaningful times.

The just said it on Sports Today in BR. And i agree. I think the play calling is terrible when Ingram is in the game. The defense doesn't even bother worrying about passing when Ingram comes in, so he's always running against loaded boxes. They either need to not play him or change up the play cling when he's in. It's way too predictable right now when he comes in. Very similar to when LSU would put RS in at QB.

well frick. i cant get up from my desk for a few minutes.
anyhow... before we all bash Ingram. Was Ingram ever in the game for a passing down? One of the reasons i suspect PT and DS are more successful is they are bigger play action/pass catching threats. Last year every time Ingram was in the game, he ran the ball. Pretty easy for defenses to target.
Did we do anything to break that pattern yesterday?

does it matter? Payton doesn't give a shite what any reporter thinks or has to say. Ingram was disappointing but payton stuck with the run and that balance paid off. The falcons abandoned the run for no reason. They do it all the time, and
@ mike smith. fricking terrible coach. Great GM in ATL, but terrible coach.

He's a hell of a pass blocker. He rarely misses an assignment. When he's in defenses always think run, so we get away with the pass sometimes.
