Want to bet?
LSU will come up with some other excuse next fall when the north endzone video board is still over 50% ads. I understand the need for corporate sponsorship, but it seems that LSU does it in the most tasteless ways possible.
I was watching the USCe vs. UGA game yesterday afternoon, and I made it a point to see how much of Sanford Stadium is plastered with ads. I even googled a photo of it. While there are some ads on their video board and around the stadium, it looks nothing like ours. Such a shame that Alleva has whored LSU out like he has.

I said the same thing yesterday to some people around me. LSU is gonna get spoiled with the revenue and figure, "what the hell, they'll adjust to it". LSU treats a chance to slap an ad on something and make some money from it like a crackhead would look at a rock being put on the table in front of him. Whether or not it's tacky doesn't matter. I'm surprised the endzones aren't individually sponsored.
And let's be honest, missing out on the ad revenue isn't going to mean LSU is gonna finish in the red. They are pulling in 30 million dollar net profit a year on football.
