Game of the Year - McMain vs Newman
Top two QBs in the metro area facing off in an old fashioned shootout! McMain QB and NOLA.com Poster Boy Omari Jones looks to make it 3-0 against the Newman Greenies. Newman QB Jabiari Tyler hopes to FINALLY score a win over the McMain Mustangs.
Notes: McMain QB Omari Jones lost his top two targets who were also the two top receivers in the metro area (Michael Andrade and Khalil Smith) to graduation. McMain sophomore RB Malik Arnold is battling a hip injury and might not play. Newman junior RB Kendall Bussey is returning did not play last season because of a leg injury.
Prediction: Omari Jones is a complete QB and will be hard for Newman to get their hands on. He's faster than last season and his awareness has improved incredibly. Although McMain lost to McDonogh 35 in the jamboree 27-8, Omari Jones looked impressive as they Roneagles couldn't get a hand on him! THE SCOREBOARD WILL BREAK WITH MCMAIN ON TOP
