Yeah, I will. Wasn't trying to dis 'em. I enjoyed the sandwich I got there. I don't know why I am against them; I guess it just wasn't as good as some phillys(traditional or non-traditional) that I have had in the past. Also, I have this problem in nola where I read and research about places and then by the time I get there I have them built up and they don't live up to my unrealistic expectations. Oh and on top of that I think my combo was 17$. That was a little over the top.

Jeez Louise, for a cheesesteak? I know Freret St prices are on the stupid side for relatively simple food, but that's a bit much. I always get sticker shock at Co Burger, too.

I like Liberty over Stein's. Pretty straight forward. I usually get mine with provolone, onions, and their pepper mix, though sometimes I opt for the Wiz. Skip the ones with "cajun" seasoning. They've started offering half sandwiches. With fries and a water it's $9. If you need a full sandwich, fries, and a fountain drink, then you're a Fatty McFatfat. I can eat a full sandwich from there and be full for the rest of the day.
Co. Burger is also $9 for a burger, fries, and a water. Not outrageous at all. better than Dat Dog that's $12 for a wiener, fries, and water.
