NFL.com scout notes on mett (scroll down the page just a little)

Here's a few quotes, it's not a super long article or anything. Nice to hear outside praise.
quote:

Keep an eye on LSU's Zach Mettenberger's development under former NFL offensive guru Cam Cameron. When Les Miles hired Cameron as the Tigers' offensive coordinator, he significantly improved Mettenberger's chances of becoming a top pick in the 2014 draft.

quote:

Looking at Mettenberger's strong performance against TCU, I believe Cameron's system and tutelage has already made a difference in the senior's game.

quote:

Given Mettenberger's impressive physical dimensions, arm talent and improving game, he could climb steadily up draft boards as he becomes more comfortable in Cameron's system this fall.

Interesting to see where he'd fall in with the likes of McCarron, Murray, and Manziel (is he draft eligible?)

If he progresses like he should this year, he'll be the first QB taken in the SEC. People can talk all they want about NFL guys liking Manziel, but when the time comes, he'll be either made into a receiver, or buried on the depth chart at QB.

If he continues to improve, Mett will be the top drafted qb from the SEC.

I think mett is a 2nd-3rd rd pick. He could move into the 1st rd.

"Although Cameron's system requires the passer to make more high-risk throws, the potential for explosive plays makes the scheme a quarterback's dream."

ZM consistently made accurate big play throws last week that we haven't seen from the Tigers in a long time.

Im not 100% sold on Mett just yet.He looked quite a bit more confident than he did last year for the most part, but he had time to stand in the pocket and wasnt pressured all that much. The part I do like from the TCU game was his ball placement.(not the ones he threw to the ground).
