I haven't watched the show. I'm sure it's good, but Cheers was a bit before my time, and there was nothing about the premise of Fraiser that appealed to me.
The only thing I really remember about Cheers was the theme song, and feeling cool that I was watching a show that took place in a bar, although I had no clue what was going on.

First few times I watched, I really disliked it. When I "got it" the show became one of my all time favorites. Some of the episodes are pure genius.
