It's the first game. If we have a weak spot it's at LB. Jones return should improve things. And as someone else said, "In the Chief I Trust".

well first if ANYONE thinks that there is no room for improvement with the D,they need to watch a replay of the game,we got gashed with the run a few times and gave up a some big plays,that being said I was impressed with the way our young D handled themselves overall,alot of potential there,good things coming in the next couple years.

We got burned on HUGE running "speed" plays to the corner at least three times. That's pretty rare for a team to have any success against LSU on the edges. I thought our LB's were getting caught in inside traffic and watching em run by them. We definitely missed Minter. We will see personnel changes in the next few weeks, I'm guessing.

I thought Mills was phenomenal in coverage.

I definitely think he defense is WIP but this is to be expected with younger players. There are no glaring weaknesses (except maybe DE), just a matter of getting PT and understanding game situations better.
