Black Bayou Hosston, one of the best big fish lakes in the state, isn't far behind. I was out there several weeks ago and there is about 75% coverage.
Caddo, Bistaneau, Wallace, Cross and practically every other shallow cypress lake in the area have this stuff trying to take over sizable chunks of the lakes. Not sure if the beetle program Texas is running on Caddo has seen results. They were trying to make the beetles become more tolerant of cold. Apparently it had worked well in south Texas but the weather is obviously milder down there.
