Yea... but hes not. Is the potential there? Certainly. But you gotta realize how far ahead every other CB on the team is compared to RR. Especially in the playbook. He hasnt practiced against college players yet. Right now, hes behind Collins, Mills, Thomas, Raymond, White, and Brazil for sure at the moment.

If RR would of gotten here on time, theres no way he gets RS and def could be pushing for some PT. But he didnt. And hes still not here. He might not get here til late this week or even next week. Game 1 is this Saturday. Itll be week 8 before hes ready to even play. No point in wasting an entire year of eligibilty just so he can play ST for a few weeks. And, we dont even know how good he really is. Sure, we hear great things about him and all. But he hasnt even practiced against college players yet. We dont even know if he would of pushed for PT as a freshman if he got here on time. And hes about 4 months behind everyon else.

And just because he could be RS doesnt mean he cant leave early. He can leave in 3 years, no matter what. Could be a RS soph or a true junior. He can still go.

From a coaches point of view, the smart thing to do with RR would be to RS him. We have enough talent at CB to have him RS.

I agree with your opinion, but what im saying is, if in fact come "week 8", hes ready, and proves to be as good as i believe he is coming out of high school, and surpasses others, why wouldnt you put him in somewhere?

Not necessarily. With guys like him(who has practiced with NFL players), They'll find a way onto the field through S/T. Also he could stretch his legs against Furman with Tre-White for the whole second half.
