I just traded away Colston, Gore, Bernard, Boldin, and Mike Williams for Brandon Marshall, Mcfadden, ryan Mathews, Jordy Nelson, and Phil dawson as filler.
Standard League. Biggest trade I have ever made haha How did I do?

Marshall > Colston
McFadden < Gore
Mathews > Bernard (Especially standard. For now at least)
Nelson > Boldin/Williams
I like it. You gave up less and still got an elite player and the best piece in the deal.

Why would you trade that many people especially before the season even started?

Was wondering this as well.

I really like to wheel and deal. It just makes it more fun for me. I posted a thread about trading Gore and Colston for marshall and mcfadden. If Mcfadden gets injured, which is expected by many but not necessarily by me, then that trade is terrible for me. Adding in all those additional players made the trade a lot safer for my team IMO. I think everybody is sleeping on Jordy Nelson. Jennings is gone for good, and they can't run for shite.

Your side has the most potential, for points AND injury.

McFadden has been a top 24 RB once in 5 years?
700+ yards once in five years?
Worst team in football?
No oline?
Nonexistent pass game?
Sign me up!

Y'all mutha frickas and your trades. Y'all crack me up. I mean Jesus, have confidence in your drafting ability. I understand if one of your guys gets injured, or is underperforming, but shite, they haven't even taken a snap yet.

I am confident that I drafted the best team. I think this trade makes my team even better. Trading is the most fun part for me.

Shake the haters, manage your team the way you want.

I'm with you, I like to trade and sometimes I have faith in a player and another team grabs him before I do. So then I may try and trade for that particular player before the season starts.
Hell I even draft players thinking of possible trade possibilities if I notice a team is going to be weak in a particular area.

Absolutely.
I also agree with possibly a trade to tinker with fringe players. Everyone wants to improve their team. It's just these blockbuster trades a week after your draft is what gets me SMH.
The dudes in my league are the same way. Some were discussing trades right after we finished. To me, it's cray. And if you wait til that point in the season when another member is getting desperate, better off for you.

All has to do with wanting a particular player or a player that you have more faith in but someone else grabbed so you took next best

I say it's at least an even trade. I agree that the plus is that you gained at least 1 one elite player. All that being said, DAMN, that's a lot of players that you just gave up on before the season even started.

I gave up a lot WR's, but most of them would not have really played for me anyway. I will post my team later.
