Miles already said they were adapting faster than expected and that the o-line could be the best talent he,s had on the o-line since he,s been there

I feel more confident than ever about the o-line when we have backups like Fanaka, Austin, Pocic, Evan Washington, and then Boutte, Dodd, and Edinberg. I wouldn't be to worried if any of those guys got serious playing time. All those guys are highly touted with good size and athetism. I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of them having breakout years. Better depth than I can ever recall on the o-line. We always seemed so thin on depth on the o-line in the past.

I like the size of the O-line also. Bunch of 320 lb plus. Big line with Copeland leading the way

There is no way to spin that we have depth there IMO.
Don't misinterpret that. None of the backups have played in any real games. The definition of depth is experienced backups. We have a ton of young talent that has yet to be proven.
I agree though. Our guys give a good reason for excitement.

nobody really has experienced backups on the o-line in college. Fanaika, Pocic, Edinberg, Austin, Washington, Dodd, Boutte, and not to forget Malone, were all highly touted, bring size and great potential to the o-line. I have no reason to believe that any one of those guys wouldn't have a solid career at LSU and in any other year, if not this year, would be pushing hard for a starting spot. You don't think Fanaika or Pocic could easily be starters? Also if Washington wouldn't have had the injuries could easily have been a starter by now. Dodd and/or Boutte could be this years Vadel Alexander if we didn't already have a Vadel Alexander. Austin is solid. Malone is raw but is going to be a bulldog. I wouldn't sweat any of those guys starting and believe that all of them could be starters for some SEC schools right now.

LSU fanboys . They hate any kind of critical observation.

I didn't down vote or anything but maybe its bc the OP is pretty much showing that he doesn't know much about the OLINE if he's asking about its concerns. Yeah, we lost willford but this OLINE is stacked with talent and if you don't know, you aren't paying attention.

The only position I'm concerned with is center. The fact that Elliot Porter hasn't locked down the job and is being pushed by a freshman who hadnt taken a snap before coming to LSU is worrisome
Pocic is just that good, dude. Porter has his experience advantage and the fact that Pocic will be used on other positions, but Pocic is an NFL potential OL. Him, Cam, Clapp and hawkins will be absolutely devastating for Dlines.
