My family was not big into tailgating or attending games. Most of my earlier memories of LSU football was my dad and uncles listening/ going nuts at the camp. I was 14 yrs old when I first stepped into Death Valley. I now have a 14 months old and plan on getting him in there ASAP!

i started going to the games on tickets labeled "high school or younger" south upper family section with my dad in 1957. They were $1 tickets. Dads were $3. I was 6 y/o. Jimmy Taylor was a Sr. Dad transferred the ticktets to my name in 1983. If I'm counting right this would be the 57th edition of the Fighting Tigers I will see in person. Season tickets the whole time.

I was 8. My dad took me to see LSU/Ole Miss. LSU won 31-20.
I plan on taking my son when he's 8.

4 years old.
I too have been itching to bring my daughter to a game, but she's only 2. I plan on waiting until she is 4 or 5. WAY WAY WAY too loud for a child under 3 in my opinion.

I was around 12 and a boy scout usher. And I didn't give a crap about the game since we'd just moved to Baton Rouge from Missouri. At the time I was sure that all southerners were mouth breathing yokels and their teams couldn't hold a candle to the Oklahomas and Nebraskas of the world.

At the age of 13. It was an experience that I will never forget. November 18, 1967 -vs- Mississippi State. LSU stomped them 55-0.
