Right. Usually CBS had LSU/Ark, OM/MSU, and a UT/UK/VU game to choose from. LSU/Ark was always the best choice. Even when the Iron Bowl got into the mix, there was more preseason hype for LSU & Arkansas combined than for Alabama and Auburn combined, and then Alabama was a defending national champion in 2009, so CBS picked up the Iron Bowl. In 2011, LSU and Arkansas were both really good, and Auburn sucked. CBS picked LSU/Ark for good reason. It had nothing to do with Saban.
