If you give him credit for making the right decision to part with Meachem/Devery, you also have to take some credit away for wasting a 1st round pick on Meachem.
Those aren't the same dude, apples and oranges.
Loomis handles the financial negotiations, I don't think he has final say in who gets drafted

But #1?
I will allow sentimental types the Gleason block, but otherwise it's got to be Hartley or one of the Tracy Porters
Add in the Jacksonville lateral miracle (but forget what happened after)

I think an argument can be made for several plays but the most special Saints play for me was Porter's pick-6 to seal Super Bowl XLIV. Others deserving consideration from recent years:
- Gleason's blocked punt in 2006 Atlanta MNF win;
- On-side kick in Super Bowl XLIV to start 2d half;
- Porter's interception to stop the Vikings' drive in the NFC Champ. game;
- Hartley's long FG to send the Saints to the SB.
Odd that I'm not thinking of a play Drew Brees did. He's obviously the one player that has been most instrumental in elevating the Saints.

This is without question the greatest play. Without it, there is no championship.
