So, if the 3-second rule is enforced, the time keeper MUST inform the coach that the stadium clock (which reads 00:00:03) is not the official time left in the half, but the timekeeper's watch is, and in reality reads 00:00:02:99 or less, are the refs going to be instructed to tell the coaches that they don't have time time to spike it and run another play? If this is the case, and the refs don't inform the coach, will an official clock replay camera have to be added or used? If so, adding this to the game could extend the half even more than just allowing the spiking.

Also, doesn't LSU (and other teams for that matter) dress out more than a hundred players? If so, numbers will go higher than 99 (starting at 0 to 9, then 10 to 99). Or will a third digit be added (as in 100, 101, etc., or perhaps using a decimal point (as in 98.6, 99.5, etc.)? Or perhaps the last three of the SS#. (Of course, I'm not being serious here).
