that doesn't make much sense. it's not a very complicated piece of machinery. if there is charcoal and fire in it its going to light unless there is 30 lbs of ash inside of it, which you said there is not.

Which is why i made this thread. It doesn't make sense. Was wondering if others have had problems with specific charcoal or any other factors that I may not think of.
