FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- There was a bit of a scare on Wednesday at Patriots camp, where quarterback Tom Brady stayed down and held his left knee after an incomplete pass in 11-on-11 drills with the Bucs. It was not immediately clear whether Brady was hit on the play.

After limping to the sideline under his own power, Brady missed one play before rejoining and completing the drill. Following the drill, Brady huddled with coach Bill Belichick, offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and head trainer Jim Whalen and it was determined that Brady would not continue to practice.

He jogged off the field under his own power.

The severity of the injury is unclear, but whatever he felt on that incomplete pass was enough that the team wanted to be cautious.
