Ok single season comparison "first year with the big boys"

CLM first season as a HC was also in the Big 12. He went 4-7 with 6 losses in the Big 12 conference. He did this with a team that had been a charter member of the Big 12 for 5 years and was previously in the Big 8. His players were recruits that were recruited in the Big 12.

CGP first year as a HC in the Big 12 he went 7-6 with 5 losses in conference. He did that with a team that was new to the conference, with recruits that were recruited in the MWC, and with a team that was gutted by injury and suspension.

hmmmm. well lets look at HC performance

In CLM HC carrier 12 seasons(4 yrs at OSU and 8 yrs at LSU) he has a 113-42 (72.9% wins)record with 63-33 (65.6%) in conference. He has two conference titles and one NC in that time. He has had 1 one loss season and no undefeated seasons. He ended the season top 10 in the coaches and AP polls 5 times. He has had one seven loss season, 3 five loss seasons, 1 four loss season, and one 3 loss season. His bowl record is 6-5.

In CGP HC carrier 12 seasons all at TCU (4 in CUSA, 7 MWC, 1 Big 12) he has a 116-35 (76.8%)record with 72-23 (75.8%) record in conference. He has 5 conference titles, 2 one loss seasons and one undefeated season. He ended the season top 10 in coaches 4 times and in the AP 3 times all from a non BCS conference. He has had 3 6 loss seasons, one five loss season, and no 4 or 3 loss seasons. His bowl record is 7-4.

Miles, on the other hand, in many more years in an even better conference, has never lost that many games, even without "Saban's players."

FWIW I just proved everything about this sentence total B.S. with the exception of "an even better conference". You should know your facts before opening your mouth.

Besides the terrible comparison and overlooking the conference importance, there is one major thing you are leaving out...

So, you are comparing one coaches numbers (who rarely plays top 20 competition) to another coaches numbers that plays an average of 6 or 7 ranked teams a season.
