And TCU wouldn't have had a one loss or undefeated season in the Mountain West with the personel losses and injuries they had last year.

Boise State, San Diego State, and Fresno State probably would have beaten them.

In 2007, TCU had a similar scenario. Their all american defensive end had mental issues and had to quit. TCU had to break in a new freshman quarterback. They went 7-5.

If TCU went 7-6 in the Big 12 with the Rose Bowl champion team, you'd have a point.
