And what the hell do you mean "because she's African"? Why not say because she has always been one race for entirety of her existence? You know like Batman has always been one race too?

No it would be because shes African. That has a lot to do with her character. After thinking about batman being from a rich family and settlers and all of that I agree being white has a lot to do with the character. I don't think a character needs to stay white or black just because. Look at the example you used earlier with nick fury. When they changed him to being black it was fine. I understand at that point he wasn't as big a character as he is now because of the movies but I think you can make him white now and it wouldn't affect the character much or at all.
