Why would he leave? He is at the top, there is nowhere to go but down. Again, whatever your feelings are about the Worldwide Leader nobody even comes close to touching them in their market.

This is my point. SVP is nothing without the ESPN name. SVP is a nationally syndicated show, he has every opportunity to leave and do the same thing. If he is as good as the MSB says, you will have no problem finding him. The cream rises to the top. Plenty of big disc jockeys that are not on ESPN radio, the format doesn't matter.

They move to other entities with limited viewership because of the virtual monopoly ESPN has on the market.
You think as if a sports radio show has to be on an all sports format. Howard Stern isn't rock music, but he was on a rock station. Rush limbaugh could be put on a christian rock station, any format, and that guy is going to be a top rated dj. He is talented.

We clearly just disagree on what a good sports show is. Jim Rome is the epitome of a douche in my eyes.
That is beside the point. Jim Rome does big ratings when he isn't on EPSN radio...how does he do that when ESPN has a virtual monopoly?
