Don't forget that Stills played with the first team offense and was basically the "speed" receiver. Nick Toon is Colston's immediate backup in that they play pretty much the same way and Payton can use Toon the same way he would use Colston.

Point is: they both make the team because they are not the same kind of receiver.

That being said, Toon looked really good in his catches and runs after catch. Stills missed the one long pass, his first as a pro player, so he gets a pass.
