For all those whodats who dont live in la like me, I found agreat deal to get sunday ticket. If you buy madden 25 aniversary edition from amazon it comes with a code to get the whole season online (tablets and mobile devices) its 99 bucks but a lot cheaper than buying from directv (300 bucks) and you get a new game. Doesnt work for preseason but I always see people post about watching online so I thought id share my find.

Good call, I should have thought about telling ST this.
It's what I'm doing.

Yeah, you get Sunday Ticket on mobile devices, tablets, AND computers.

So this season, I'll be hooking an HDMI up from my lappy to my TV.

It won't be the same, but it'll be WAYYYY cheaper.

This deal was announced a couple of months ago. I believe there are a limited number available, so I suggest moving fast on this one.

ETA: I wonder if I could watch the Sunday Ticket directly on my smart TV using the TV browser.

I just called Directv, told them about this deal and they gave me the ticket for free with the redzone. Didn't even have to haggle

I may be wrong, but if you already have Direct TV or sign-up for it, the Sunday Ticket is included. This deal mostly benefits those without Direct TV.

This is exactly what I'm wondering.

I find the picture to be very sub-par when hooking my computer to my TV. Watching through my TV web browser would probably resolve that issue.

I'm doing this and will AirPlay from my iPad to Apple TV.

I wonder if this will lead to multiple distributors of Sunday ticket like the other sports.

I'm guessing this deal won't fly for my TV.

So do you need an Xbox or gamer tag to access it? I recently traded my Xbox in to reserve the new system. I'll buy the game just for the code but want to make sure it will work without the Xbox...

Also is amazon the only place offering the code with preorder?

I signed up with DTV last year and got the ticket for free. Last month I called and cancelled the ticket then I called today asked for the redzone and they gave the whole thing free. I really was just giving and FYI for those with DTV. You are correct, however it looks like the madden deal could benefit anyone even current DTV subs.

Do current DTV users have access to the Sunday Ticket via mobile devices?

Called and got to retentions, said I read that I could get the ticket by purchasing madden but that I would prefer to get it through DTV. I then said I couldn't afford the whole but would pay for the red zone only.

The CSR told me they don't usually that but she would check to see if they had any promotions. she came back to line in under a minute and told me I could have the redzone free and the whole ticket.

All I had to do was sign up for another year, well it turned out that my contract runs out on 8/4/14 and the extra year runs through 8/8/14 so it only added 4 days to my current contract.

If you get the right CSR you can get some good shite.
