Why? Helmet Mike is virtually unrecognizable.
We need our primary logo (and this includes our helmet) to be LSU in the Geaux font and the Tiger Eye.
It's instantly recognizable, is unique, and looks damn good. The "electrical tape" letters on our helmet now are from the 70's, when someone invented them out of this air. Well, now we've invented the Geaux font, which looks awesome, so let's make the transformation complete and update our helmet. And if the Tiger Eye is good enough for our midfield logo, it should also be on the helmet.
