Really am shocked by this. He's been saying nothing but champions league aspirations for the past year and a half and now he jumps back to MLS? He must be homesick, or maybe he's losing his passion for the game and wants to make things fun again.. Idk, this is puzzling to say the least.

Maybe he thinks this is a good opportunity to bring some notoriety to the league that gave him his start and helped him realize his dream.

He probably had big time CL in mind. Didn't get it. Doesn't think he'll get it.
Nothing wrong with going back home.
