Are we making excuses now? LSU actually got in the red zone, while Bama was trying 50 yd field goals.

I've already stated that your team played better.
LSU scored a field goal on your red zone trips. Let's reexamine how you got there.
1. Morris Claiborne interception return.
2. Blown coverage. Review the highlight. 1 Alabama defender was chasing two receivers. The defensive back had his man covered. Who was supposed to cover the wide open, free man? Yeah. I guess LSU forced the blown assignment.
3. OT. You've already got a short field provided to you. I know your running back barely stepped out of bounds after that late pitch but don't act like you drove all the way down the field for the game winning field goal.

Neither team found the end zone. LSU's field goals were the result of a busted assignment, an interception return, and a good play on a field shortened by it being overtime.

Hmm, doesn't appear either team was moving up and down the field.

So if both teams were so even as evidenced by scores vs common opponents and no decision in regulation (Bama arguments). Why then did Bama suddenly put up a 21-0 effort in the NCG if LSU didn't blow the game? Seems like a statistical outlier.
I'm still waiting for the rubber match though....
