So, let's give a run down here:
QB: despite recruiting videos, RS couldn't hit a barn during practices at LSU. He was at 4th string at best when he moved positions. And, we weren't changing to an Oregon offense just to see if our 4th string QB might work out there.
RB: Limited playing time due to lack of size and pass blocking ability. If he was in the game, you knew we were running or throwing a quick pass. Limited his playing time due to predictability.
WR: short, inconsistent hands, lazy routes. Got passed up by freshman 2 years in a row. Success limited to short passes, screens and running plays from the WR position. Terrible run blocking WR also limited his snaps.
KR/PR: couldn't catch the ball.
We had better players than him at every single position. He was at best the 3rd best player at any position we tried him at. And still, Les tried him over and over and over in a ton of different ways.
He was just not as good as we hoped. It happens. Move on.
