Is this kind of thing normal in player contracts? 2/3rds of his base salary just went away because he missed workouts. That just seems like an odd thing coming from a position of having no idea if that's normal.

^^^ this poster doesn't understand how a strawman works.

The original position is that it was his agent's fault. I am saying that it was in fact the player's fault. I didn't say that it was somebody else's fault. He should have read his contract. The fact that he didn't read his contract (or presumably listen to his agent after the contract was signed) is all on him.
