Barry mother frickin Sanders.

1988 Season (11 games):

2628 yards rushing (238.91 yards/game)
7.6 ypc
37 rushing TDs
3,248 total yards
39 total TDs
5 consecutive 200 yard games
4 300 yard games
Scored at least 2 TDs in 11 consecutive games
Scored 3 TDs in 9 games

Including the bowl game:
2850 yards rushing (237.5 yards/game)
42 rushing TDs
44 total TDs

Sanders set 34 NCAA records that season (itself a record). He was also an All-American in 1987 as a kick returner when he averaged 31 yards per return.

PS- I may be a bit biased.

And for good reason. He is my favorite football player of all time, which tells you why it killed me to leave him off the list.

But couldn't beat out Thurman Thomas.

Sanders had a senior AA at WR Dykes who had 1000 and a Sr QB Gundy. I am not saying his season wasn't great but he wasn't only good player on his team
