85% scoring is not optimal but far from terrible.
alabama got into red zone 9 more times than LSU but played one more game. their percentage was 90.

Our last two defeats came about because the defense couldn't hold leads in the last minute of games and allowed teams to drive 75 yards for the win.
Our offense had problems, but so did the defense in holding leads when the game was on the line.
