Yeah, I edited to include the cap space for Tyreke, which I think would be the part that Lowe really disliked as opposed to Holiday. I think the second part of your post is an overused cliche, especially when it just worked out for your team.

Teague and Jennings are NEVER going to lead their teams to a title, I would bet any amount of money on that. Holiday on the other hand, looks fully capable of being the primary ballhandler of a very good-great team down the line.

Dell Demps has managed to turn an old, gutted, roster after Chris Paul left, into a core of Jrue Holiday(23), Eric Gordon(24), Tyreke Evans(23), Anthony Davis(20), Ryan Anderson(25) and Austin Rivers(20). That was all done in 2 seasons, with Jason Smith being the only guy left over from 2011.
I'm fine with people questioning how they will fit together, but that core is extremely impressive. Thats far more talent than the franchise has ever had since coming to New Orleans.
And with the exception of Rivers, those are all young guys who we already know can play and can grow together given none have reached their primes. There's no HOPING Noel is ok, or pining your hopes on some mid-late lottery pick next year.
